Question Are Speech and Occupational Therapy Sessions covered by Insurance?
Answer Coverage is determined by the client's insurance. Speech and Occupational evaluations are usually covered by insurance. Coverage for treatment usually depends on whether or not the condition being treated is considered a "Medical Necessity." Also, Newport Language and Speech Centers is vendored by Regional Center to provide services for children ages 0-3 years who qualify.

Question What are your Staff's Qualifications?
Answer Speech Language Pathologist Minimum of a Master's Degree. Meet requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure by the State of California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
 
  Occupational Therapist Minimum of a Master's Degree. Occupational Therapists are licensed by the State of California and registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
 
  Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Licensed by the State of California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
 
  Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Licensed by the State of California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
